# PropW Abnormal Trading Supervision Standards and Handling Measures

To further regulate cryptocurrency trading behavior, maintain fair market order, prevent risks, and protect the legal rights of cryptocurrency market participants, the trading platform will supervise and manage cryptocurrency trading activities. If abnormal trading behavior is detected among platform users, the trading platform has the right to take corresponding measures against the relevant participants. Therefore, all traders must strictly comply with our "Terms of Use." \
\
Our goal is to protect the company and the community by ensuring responsible trading behavior. We will review trading data to identify behaviors that violate the "Terms of Use" or are inconsistent with real market conditions. All accounts may be subject to internal statistical reviews at any time to monitor trading activities and behaviors. These reviews include verification of withdrawal requests, trading data, and KYC information to identify potential violations.\
\
Based on the review results, if violations are found, we may take the following measures: disqualification from challenges, rollback of abnormal trades, rejection of abnormal profit withdrawals, and permanent account freezing. These reviews may be conducted at any time, and violating accounts may face the following handling measures:

* Disqualification from challenges
* Rollback of abnormal trades
* Account freezing
* Termination of account challenges

Examples of Prohibited Trading Strategies

**1.Hedging Arbitrage or Multi-Account Group Hedging Arbitrage**

Hedging or multi-account group hedging refers to individuals or a group of traders conducting opposite-direction trades (i.e., buying/selling) on the same or different currency pairs through multiple accounts within a certain period. Such arbitrage trading, also known as AB warehouse trading, attempts to achieve risk-free arbitrage and abnormal profits through trading mechanisms without bearing significant market risks. This behavior violates the compliant operation of real financial markets and is strictly prohibited. Once detected, violating trading accounts will be subject to risk control measures, including freezing withdrawals and rolling back abnormal trades. Repeat offenders will have their PropW accounts permanently frozen.

**2.Account Sharing or Account Trading**

Traders are not allowed to share accounts or resell simulated fund accounts to others, whether relatives or friends, for any reason. Account sharing and account trading are strictly prohibited. Such behaviors will result in your account being immediately deemed in violation and permanently banned from using our services, as they violate the company's "Terms of Use." Account selling is strictly prohibited, and violations will result in immediate account freezing and challenge failure.

**3.Fake Identity Information Accounts**

Fake identity information accounts refer to traders using forged or misleading identity information to register accounts to evade risk control reviews or engage in prohibited arbitrage trading. For example, traders whose accounts were banned for violations (such as arbitrage or hedging) may use fake identities to re-register and continue trading. Common methods of fake identity registration include:

* Using fake ID cards, passports, or other identity documents for KYC verification.
* Stealing or purchasing others' identity information for registration.
* Forging identities by modifying documents or using AI-generated fake identity information.
* Creating multiple accounts using the same identity or registering with forged, falsified, or misleading identity information is strictly prohibited. All traders must provide accurate, authentic, and verifiable identity information. Any attempt to use false or fraudulent identity information constitutes a material violation of PropW’s Terms of Use and may result in legal consequences where applicable. Upon detection, PropW reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate the account, invalidate all challenge or funded account results, cancel any pending payouts, and take any other actions permitted under the Terms of Use.

**4.Frequent IP Switching for Trading**

Frequent IP switching for trading refers to traders using different network connections, VPNs, proxy servers, or other technical means to switch IP addresses multiple times within a short period for trading. This behavior is often associated with the following prohibited purposes:

* Evading risk control monitoring
* Operating multiple accounts
* Hiding real identities
* Engaging in arbitrage or hedging tradingThe platform strictly prohibits frequent IP switching, especially cross-regional IP switching within a short period. Once detected, the account will be immediately frozen, and abnormal profits will be deducted.

**5.Other Abnormal Arbitrage Behaviors**

Other forms of abnormal trading and arbitrage activities that undermine the fairness of the platform and harm its interests, including but not limited to exploiting specific trading pairs to conduct frequent order operations for arbitrage within tens of seconds, are prohibited. The platform will implement risk control measures against involved users based on the severity of the violation.

**6.Prohibition of Long-Term Positions**

To ensure the security of platform funds. Traders may not hold any position beyond the maximum holding period (10 days) for the traded instrument. Should a position exceed this duration, profits accrued beyond the 10-day mark will not be counted as normal earnings. This platform reserves the right to deduct such profits.

**7.Prohibited: High-Risk, Gambling, and Rule-Exploitative Trading Practices**

Prohibited behaviors include but are not limited to:

* Excessive Risk-Taking: Using a large portion of available funds or margin in single or multiple trades, leaving minimal risk buffer.
* "All-In" Trading: Deploying all account capital into one or multiple positions to gamble on short-term volatility.
* Improper Leverage Usage: Opening excessive positions in the same direction without risk control, with margin usage exceeding 70% of account equity.
* Event Speculation: Extreme positioning before major economic events (e.g., rate decisions, CPI data) with ≥70% margin usage to exploit short-term volatility.

Example:

For a trader with 10,000 USDT capital and 5X leverage:

Opening four 2,000 USDT margin positions (total 8,000 USDT margin) on ORDIUSDT in the same direction would constitute 70% margin usage – breaching risk tolerance thresholds and qualifying as "All-In" behavior subject to platform intervention.

Violation Penalties:

If detected, PropW may enforce one or more measures:

* Freeze the trading account
* Revoke challenge account access
* Suspend profits/benefits
* Flag as high-risk and blacklist the user

\
**8.Prohibition of Ultra-Short-Term Trading**

To maintain market stability and trading fairness, the platform prohibits ultra-short-term trading behavior where the position holding time is too short. Ultra-short-term trading refers to a trader closing a position within less than 60 seconds after opening. If multiple instances of ultra-short-term trading are detected, the challenge qualification will be revoked.

**9. Prohibition of Mirror Trading / Copy Trading** \
**PropW strictly prohibits any form of third-party copy trading and mirror trading.**

* When multiple accounts owned by different individuals exhibit highly overlapping or identical trading patterns (Including, but not limited to: entry time, exit time, entry price, exit price, trading symbols, and position size, etc.);
* Engaging in the synchronous copying of external signals, group/community copy trading, or purchasing "challenge passing/automated passing" services;
* One individual operating multiple accounts owned by others (such as managing or holding accounts belonging to relatives or friends);

Any of the above actions will be deemed a violation of policy (except for copy trading between accounts registered and verified under your own legal name).

The platform will conduct strict automated and manual dual-audits whenever a user submits a withdrawal/payout request. For the first violation, 50% of the profit split for that period will be deducted, and a formal warning notice will be issued. If the user repeatedly commits the violation thereafter, the platform reserves the right to directly terminate the account access and permissions.\
\
PropW is committed to nurturing sustainable, risk-aware traders – not short-term gamblers. These rules ensure a fair, stable, and growth-oriented platform ecosystem.\
\
**Final Statement**\
The above lists the most common strategies we have identified for abusing PropW accounts, but this list does not cover all possible violations of trading rules. If any account is found to use unfair strategies or trading methods inconsistent with real market logic, the account will not receive funding support, and the PropW account may be deemed in violation.\
\
Please note that all trading on our platform must comply with the operational logic of real financial markets. As we obtain more trading data, our statistical evaluation and review standards are continuously optimized. Therefore, certain trading behaviors that were not flagged in the past may be identified and handled by the system in the future.\
\
If a trading strategy cannot be replicated in real markets, we reserve the right to investigate the strategy and terminate your access to our services. The platform retains the final interpretation rights of these rules.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.propw.com/help-center/propw-trading-rules/propw-abnormal-trading-supervision-standards-and-handling-measures.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
